Measure your actions per minute in seconds
- Pick a duration — 30 or 60 seconds mirrors a real game stretch.
- Press Start test, then click and press keys inside the box like you are playing.
- Clicks and full key presses both count; a held key counts once.
- The timer stops automatically at zero — read actions, APM and the click/key split.
- Run at least three rounds and keep the best as your reference.
- For pure click speed instead of combined actions, use the CPS Test.
APM questions
What is a good APM score?
Most casual players land between 60 and 150 actions per minute over 60 seconds. Competitive strategy players often pass 200. Compare rounds of the same duration — short bursts always inflate the number.
Do clicks and keys count the same?
Yes: one click and one full key press each count as one action. That matches how games read input — what matters is how often you act, not which finger you use.
Why does holding a key not raise my score?
Operating systems repeat held keys, which would fake the result. Like the Spacebar Test, this page counts one action per full down-and-up cycle.
How is APM calculated here?
Actions divided by seconds, times 60: 150 actions in 60 seconds equal 150 APM. In a 30-second round the same pace gives the same APM — the math already normalizes the window.
