Measure your clicks per second in seconds
- Pick a duration — 5 or 10 seconds is the fairest comparison for most people.
- Press Start clicking, then click inside the box as fast and steadily as you can.
- The timer starts on the first click and stops automatically at zero.
- Read your score: total clicks, clicks per second and the average gap between clicks.
- Run at least three rounds and keep the best as your reference — speed varies between tries.

What is a good CPS score?
Most people land between 3 and 6 clicks per second on a mouse in a 10-second round. Above 8 is rare. Compare rounds of the same duration — a 1-second burst always looks faster than a 30-second average.
Why did my first click start the timer?
The clock starts on your first click so aiming time never pollutes the score. The rate is total clicks divided by the full duration, the same math used in the worked example below.
Mouse, trackpad or touchscreen — which counts?
A mouse gives the highest and most comparable numbers. Trackpads and touchscreens are playable here but score lower; say which device you used when comparing with friends.
How is CPS calculated here?
Clicks divided by seconds: 50 clicks in 10 seconds equals 5 clicks per second. The average gap is 1000 divided by the CPS — about 200 ms between clicks in that example.
