Good to know
Why is my mic too quiet?
Distance is the usual cause. Get closer, check the system input volume and remove covers or adapters in the way.
What is clipping?
The signal is louder than the mic can capture, so peaks get cut and voices distort. Lower the gain until peaks stay green.
What is the noise floor?
The background hum of the room and electronics. Below -50 dB is great for calls; above -30 dB people will hear hiss.
Is my voice uploaded anywhere?
No. Analysis and the sample stay in your browser tab. Closing the tab erases them.
