Marketplace profit questions

Same price everywhere, or same profit?

Same price shows where more money is left over. Same profit answers the inverse: set a goal like 35 per unit and each platform shows the price it needs. Heavier fees always demand a higher ticket.

What does a 100 price with 15% commission really leave?

With base cost 37, freight 12, ads 4% and tax 6%: fees 25, costs 49, profit 26, margin 26%. Asking 26 of profit on that platform means charging exactly 100 — the math runs both ways.

Why is my margin negative?

Fees plus costs exceed the price — usually freight or commission on a low ticket. Raise the price, cut the ad rate or drop the platform; the row is flagged so the loss never hides.

Are marketplace fees pre-filled?

No, on purpose: official rates change by country, category and date. Names are suggested and every rate is typed by you — check the current terms. Simulation only, not tax or business advice.
