Verdict: which DPI fits you
No verdict yet - play a round first.
Find your DPI in one test
- Add up to 4 profiles with the DPI values you will really test on the mouse (for example 400, 800 and 1600).
- Pick a duration - 30 seconds is the standard - and a target size.
- Press Start test. Use the fullscreen arena for a bigger space, closer to a real game.
- Click the targets and switch the active profile (buttons or keys 1-4) every time you change the DPI on the mouse.
- At the end, read the table per DPI: accuracy, average hit time and score.
- Follow the verdict. To measure the real DPI of your mouse, use the Mouse DPI test; to match sensitivity across DPIs, use the eDPI calculator.
Aim and DPI questions
Does this site read the real DPI of my mouse?
No - no website can: browsers have no access to that setting. You type the values (from the mouse software or the DPI button) and switch the active profile at the moment you switch the mouse. The test compares the profiles you declared.
How is the winner scored? Example?
Score = accuracy x 100 - average time / 10. Example: profile A (800 DPI) with 12 hits in 15 shots = 80% and 640 ms average gives 8000 - 64 = 7936 points. Profile B (1600 DPI) with 10 in 16 = 62.5% and 520 ms average gives 6250 - 52 = 6198. A wins: more precise, even if slower.
How many clicks per DPI should I trust?
At least 5 shots per profile to enter the verdict. For a fair comparison, play the full round, split clicks evenly, and repeat on the same screen and window size.
Why play in fullscreen?
A bigger arena means longer mouse travel, closer to a real game. Press Esc to exit. Only compare rounds played in the same setup.
