Private by design: every reading stays in this tab. Nothing is uploaded or stored.

How to read your system monitor

  1. Open this page and watch: FPS, page memory, battery, network and storage update live, about twice per second.
  2. Compare the live FPS with the 60-frame average: steady 60 means smooth; repeated drops plus growing long tasks mean the main thread is overloaded.
  3. Use the permission buttons to trigger the real browser prompt for camera, microphone, location or notifications. Camera and microphone are released immediately after the test.
  4. Press “Show my location” to test geolocation: the page shows coordinates and accuracy only on your screen.
  5. Copy the summary to send your device profile to support — it contains only the values shown above.
  6. What you will never see here: CPU temperature, fan speed or total CPU/RAM usage. Browsers block those sensors; no website can read them.

Good to know

Why is device memory a round number like 8 GB?

Browsers only reveal a coarse bucket (0.25, 0.5, 1, 2, 4 or 8 GB) to prevent fingerprinting. It is an estimate, and only Chrome and Edge expose it.

Why is there no CPU temperature or fan speed?

No browser API exposes hardware sensors — a website reading them would be a privacy hole. Temperatures and fan RPM need a program installed on the PC.

What is a long task?

Any main-thread job over 50 ms. During it the page cannot respond to taps or draw frames, so a growing count matches visible stutter.

Do permission requests spy on me?

No. The prompt is the browser's own, the answer stays on your device, and camera/microphone test streams are stopped right after the check.
