Fit cards, labels and flyers on any paper: best layout, sheets and waste.

Paper

Blank border your printer cannot print on: 10 mm is safe.

Piece size

Space for the cutter: 2–3 mm is a safe choice.

The tool also tries the piece turned 90° and keeps the best fit.

Set margins to None and scale to 100% for exact sizes.

More pieces per sheet, less waste

  1. Pick the paper (or type a custom size), the orientation and the margin your printer needs.
  2. Pick the piece — business card, label, flyer — or type a custom width and height, plus the gap for the cutter and how many pieces you need.
  3. The tool compares the piece straight and turned 90° and shows the best layout, how many sheets you need and the waste %.
  4. Worked example: A4 with 10 mm margins, 3 mm gap and 90 × 50 mm business cards fits 2 columns × 5 rows = 10 per sheet, so 100 cards need 10 sheets with 72.2% of the paper used.

Good to know

Why allow rotation?

A piece turned 90° often fits more copies: the tool tests both and keeps the winner, so you never have to guess.

Does the margin matter?

Yes. Most home printers cannot print to the edge, so 10 mm margins reflect the real printable area. Smaller margins fit more pieces but may cut content on some printers.

How do I export a PDF?

Click Print and choose “Save as PDF” in the dialog, with margins set to None and scale at 100% so pieces keep their real size.
