How to play the security learning game

  1. Choose a random or daily challenge. Play alone or with 2–4 people on one device; names are used only for this session.
  2. Read the context, inspect the displayed sender and destination, and choose the safest next step. Hints are free; a correct decision earns ten points.
  3. In local turns, choices stay hidden until everyone confirms. Then review the intended action, specific clues and official source. There is no timer pushing you to rush.
  4. Complete eight situations, revisit mistakes or share the same challenge seed. A shared link does not create a synchronized room. Local progress records scenarios practiced, not a security qualification.

Security game questions

Does a familiar sender prove a message is safe?

No. A name can be imitated and an account can be compromised. Check consequential requests through an independent known channel.

Are hints penalized?

No. The goal is to learn careful decisions. Inspecting and asking for a hint do not reduce points.

Can friends play online with the link?

They can play the same seeded set independently. Turns and scores are shared only on the same device, not synchronized online.
