Aim, shoot, decide

  1. Write 2 to 12 options. Each one becomes a colored ring of the target, from the center outward, with its number repeated in the fixed legend beside it.
  2. Pick fair draw for impartial choices or skill when you want your aim to decide. In tasks mode the fair draw is the default.
  3. Aim with the mouse, your finger or the arrow keys, hold to draw the bow and release to shoot. Watch the wind flag: it really pushes the arrow in skill mode.
  4. On a miss nothing is chosen: nock another arrow. Use remove winner, repeat or share the setup (options only, never future results).

Fairness and details

How is the fair draw guaranteed?

The option is picked before the animation with crypto.getRandomValues(), the same unbiased primitive as the wheel and the coin. Target motion, wind and flight only stage the result that was already drawn.

What changes between skill and fair draw?

In skill mode the impact adds up your aim, bow sway, target motion, wind, gravity, power and a small spread, so practice helps. In fair mode none of that changes the probabilities.

What happens on the dividing line or a complete miss?

The tip of the arrow decides: the ring under its exact center wins, always the same rule. A complete miss chooses nothing and you shoot again.

Do my options leave this device?

No. Everything runs locally, setups are saved in your browser and shared links carry only the configuration. Results are never uploaded or tracked with names.
