- Choose language, board size (7×7 to 15×15), theme and difficulty, then start a new puzzle — everything generates on your device.
- Click a cell to select it, click again or press H/V to switch direction. Type to fill; accents are accepted automatically (A = Ã Â À Á).
- Use check letter, word or board to verify, and reveal or hint with a score penalty when stuck.
- Open Create to paste WORD | clue lines, generate a board in a background worker, preview it, then export JSON, SVG, PNG or print — or share a small puzzle by link.
Crossword questions
Do I need to type accents?
No. Answers display with accents, but the board accepts plain letters: typing A fills Ã, Â, À or Á. Comparison ignores accents and cedilla.
What is the daily challenge?
Everyone gets the same board on the same day: the date is the seed. Finish it to grow your day streak.
How is the score calculated?
Words, board size and difficulty raise the base; fast finishes add a bonus, while errors, hints and reveals subtract. Score converts to XP and levels stored only on this device.
Is anything sent to a server?
No. Generation, validation, stats and exports run locally. Share links carry only the puzzle text — never your stats.
How big is the word bank?
This version ships a curated starter bank in each language with lazy loading and an offline cache. The architecture supports chunked 10,000+ entry banks per language as future content packs.
